- Milk: I love cashew or oat milk for extra creaminess, but any type of milk will do.
- Nut Butter: My go-to is homemade almond butter, but any nut or seed butter works great.

Making the acai base is super simple—just toss the acai packets, banana, milk, and nut butter into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.

The toppings are honestly my favorite part of an acai bowl. They add texture, crunch, protein, and extra nutrients! Here are a few ideas to inspire you:
- Fruit: Load up with your favorite fruits. I love alternating between a berry mix (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries) and a tropical mix (mangoes, bananas, and pineapple).
- Seeds: Add nutritional benefits with a variety of seeds like pumpkin, flax, sunflower, hemp, and chia seeds.
- Nuts: Chop up your favorite nuts for a crunchy topping, and don’t forget you can drizzle some nut butter on top too.
- Chia Pudding: For a fun and nutritious twist, add a layer of chia pudding. You can even alternate layers of chia pudding and blended acai in a clear cup, similar to a parfait.

Are Acai Bowls Healthy?
Yes, when enjoyed in moderation! The deep purple color of acai berries indicates they’re rich in polyphenols and anthocyanins (a type of flavonoid also found in beets, blackberries, and blueberries) and packed with antioxidants.
