How to Make Keto Tacos
It’s usually the tortilla that’s the problem, not the filling. Traditional corn or flour tortillas are high in carbs, which isn’t great for ketosis. But sometimes, you really want a proper taco, not a taco bowl or some other compromise.
Here’s how to make a delicious taco shell without all the carbs: use a mix of coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, and baking soda. Combined with egg, water, salt, and oil, this mixture creates a perfect, low-carb carrier for your fish.
Making the Fish
To keep your fish Keto-friendly, coat it in coconut flour instead of regular flour. A quick fry in olive oil, and your fish is ready to star in this dish.
Making it More Authentic
Just the shell and fish might be a bit plain, so we’ll jazz it up with lime mayo. Mix regular mayonnaise (check for sugar-free brands) with lime zest for a zesty kick that perfectly complements the fish.
